Training requirements

Safeguarding training must be refreshed every three years and it is just over three years since we had the training session in the church, so it is time to refresh your training! You need to complete the highest level of training which you completed originally. The names of the courses have changed so if you have any questions about which level you need to do please ask . All of the training sessions can be found on this link: https://www.oxford.anglican.org/support-services/safeguarding/safeguarding-training/

Most of the sessions are now completed on Zoom, but there are also some face-to-face ones as well for those of you who would prefer that option.

Training Models for Parish Roles

The tables below shows you which model(s) you need to complete, depending upon which position(s) you hold within the church. Anyone can complete the Basic Awareness course, and it is recommended that if you are a member of a group then you complete this course so that you can be vigilant and know what signs to look for.
