The Parish Giving Scheme

The Parish Giving Scheme, PGS, enables St Peter's Church to manage Regular Giving donations via Direct Debit.

 

It is designed to support church fund-raising for our mission and ministry. It reduces the burden of work for our treasurer and provides a simple, secure and confidential service to givers. The running costs of the scheme are paid for by the diocese, so it costs us nothing.

Donations are made on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis and are taken on the first day of the month, and your gift will be passed to us by the tenth of the month. If you are a tax payer, Gift Aid will be collected separately by PGS and passed to us when it is received from HMRC.

When you sign up you will be given the option for your gift to be increased each year in line with inflation. This will prevent your giving from becoming less valuable over time.

You have full control of your giving. If you wish to change the amount you give or cancel it entirely, you can do so by a simple phone call or email.
