Pastoral Care at St Peter's
Pastoral care at St Peter's Church plays a central and vital role in our church life.
Along with Revd Josh, Ian the LLM, Michaela, our Pastoral Team leader and their trained pastoral team, we follow the example of Jesus’s ministry through love, listening, and presence.
What is Pastoral Care?
It provides spiritual, emotional, and practical care during life's challenges, including home visits, bereavement support, and home communion.
Visiting: Regular visits to the elderly, housebound, sick, or bereaved.

Sacramental Care: Bringing Holy Communion to those unable to attend church.

Listening/Prayer: Providing a confidential, non-judgmental ear and prayer support.

Life Events: Offering support during baptism, marriage, or funeral preparation.
