Our event venue at St Peter's - Cornerstone - is available to hire for your special gatherings, meetings, groups, classes, courses and so much more. Perfect for birthday parties, christenings, smaller receptions, and social/hobby groups, Cornerstone is the place to relax and enjoy your event.

​Known for it's welcoming atmosphere, bright, open space and being easy to decorate for parties, we are ideally located for post-service gatherings with very reasonable hire rates.
​

Plenty of Space
Our large main room is bright, airy and has plenty of space for you to either set up tables and chairs or simply use the area for wellness and other classes where you need to move around more. (Pictured is a christening party, where our chairs were decorated with covers that the party had brought in - the results were brilliant, how fantastic do they look!)

Our smaller room is connected to the large room (separated by dividing doors) and this smaller room is ideal for meetings of up to 8-10 people.
​
However, we often hire Cornerstone as open plan (both rooms available to you) which offers huge amounts of space for various activities.
Kitchen Available
If beverages or a buffet is on the cards for your event, we have a well equipped kitchen available for you.

Perfect for any last minute food prep and getting your buffet arranged and ready to serve to your guests, or even just to make a cuppa - our kitchen can be made available for your use and the large serving hatches are ideal for easy service.
Accessible for You
Located in the heart of the village, Cornerstone is an ideal central meeting point and very easy to access.
​
Cornerstone is on the ground floor so no stairs to navigate.
​
Our facilities include two accessible toilets, with wide entrance doorways to accommodate mobility scooters/wheelchairs.
​
There is no parking available at the church itself - however, both the Jennery Lane and Summers Road car parks are very close by (less than 5 minutes away)
Supporting our Charity
Our hire terms and rates are reasonable, and we are looking forward to being able to offer you Cornerstone for regular bookings or one off event hire.

Cornerstone is part of St Peter's Church and so the fees you pay go to our charity* which helps support the mission and maintenance of our church.
