Thursday 3rd December
10am - Opening Ceremony
Join us as we officially launch our spectacular Christmas Tree Festival!
Revd Josh will lead our opening gathering, kicking off a magical weekend for the whole community.
Be among the very first to step inside and 'Meet the Trees'—with 40 beautifully decorated trees transforming the church into a glowing winter wonderland, it will truly be a sight to see.
To make the morning even more special, local schoolchildren will be filling the historic space with the wonderful sound of Christmas carols.
After the opening ceremony, stick around to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy some warming seasonal refreshments in Cornerstone, available right up until midday. Come and help us start the festival with seasonal cheer.
5pm - Evening Viewing
Can’t make it during the day? Or perhaps you just want to experience the
festival in a completely different light?
Join us for our special twilight viewings from 5pm to 7pm.
There is something truly magical about seeing the church lit up by glowing trees after dark.
It is the perfect, relaxing way to unwind after a busy day or a shift at work.
To keep you warm, we’ll be serving up steaming mugs of mulled wine and delicious mince pies as you stroll through the trees.

Skip the rush hour, escape the winter cold, and treat yourself to a festive evening out.

Saturday 5th December
11am until 8pm - Meet the Trees - Open Day
Make a full day of it! We are thrilled that our festival coincides with the highly anticipated return of the Burnham Traditional Christmas Market.
While the High Street, Burnham Park and the Hall are buzzing with Santa’s Grotto, real-life reindeer, Traylen’s funfair, and the big parade leading to the festive lights switch-on,
St Peter's will be open as your peaceful, indoor oasis.
It’s the perfect place to step inside, warm up, and view our stunning variety of
trees while discovering the wonderful community groups behind them.
As St Peter's will be open all day until 8:00pm, you can easily pop in to see us before, during, or after you catch the High Street festivities.
What a wonderful, community-filled way to celebrate the season - join us!
11:30am - 12:30am - Quiet Space
We know that bustling crowds and a room full of music and chatter isn't for everyone.
If you would prefer a calmer, gentler visit, we are hosting a quiet hour; dedicated time to enjoy the trees in true peace and tranquillity.
It is the perfect opportunity to simply sit, reflect, and appreciate the beauty of St Peter's all decorated for Christmas.
Whether you prefer a peaceful environment, or just want a quiet moment to yourself, you are so welcome to join us for this gentler way to experience the festival.
1pm - Puppets 4 All at Christmas
And now for something completely different!
Right after our quiet hour, the volume goes up as St Peter's wonderful puppet team takes the stage for a festive special; expect heaps of energy, lots of laughter, and great music as the popular George, Rebecca, and their friends, bring a brand-new show to life, created especially for the Christmas Tree Festival.
Whether you are bringing the kids or you're just a big kid at heart, this lively show is perfect for grown-ups and children alike. Come along and join the fun!
Sunday 6th December
1pm - Grand Finale Viewing
This is it — your very last chance to wander through our winter wonderland and take in the stunning details of all the amazing trees before the festival draws to a close.

Come along for one final look at the spectacular displays, snap your last festive photos, and soak up the magical atmosphere before we end the entire weekend in style!

Directly following this viewing, we’re shifting from quiet wonder to hearty celebration as we dive straight into our closing event: Cider and Carols in Cornerstone -

Make sure you stick around to send off our first-ever festival with a bang...
6pm - Cider and Carols in Cornerstone
Following the roaring success of 'Beer and Hymns' earlier this year, we can’t think of a better way to wrap up our very first Christmas Tree Festival than with Cider and Carols in Cornerstone.
There is nothing quite like raising your voice with friends and neighbours to sing those well-loved carols—festive music always has a way of lifting the spirits.
There will be cider (both alcoholic and non), alongside soft drinks and we'll also be selling 'Cornerstone,' our custom IPA that so many of you loved at the last event.
Be sure to grab some before we run out!

You can also pick up one of our special St Peter’s Christmas Puddings to take home for the big day.

Even more excitement!
At 8pm the draw will be held for our official FESTIVAL RAFFLE with some fantastic prizes to be won (tickets will be on sale in the months leading up to the festival, so make sure you are in with a chance to win!)

If you missed out on Beer and Hymns, make sure to pop this special event in your diary.

It’s all set to be a joyful, uplifting end to the festival and the perfect start to our Christmas season.
We can’t wait to see you there — everyone is welcome.
