Children and Youth |
SundaysSt Peter's has very active youth and children's groups on Sunday mornings and during the week. There's something for young people from birth to young adults, as you'll see below. All children and young people are welcome at our groups. If you wish to keep your children with you during the service, we have a children's area with resources for children's worship, plus other activities. If babies or younger children become restless, please feel free to walk around with them or take them out for a short time. The church has plenty of room for pushchairs. Young Church - children in school years Reception - Year 7, plus a crèche for 0 - 3 year olds Young Church meets in church at the beginning of the service (10am), then (after the first hymn and a prayer) moves into Cornerstone for Bible stories, teaching and activities. Young Church ends with prayers and we rejoin the main service in time for communion. Please contact Gill Knight or Pam Rogers via the Cornerstone Office for more details. Tower Teens - school year 8+ Tower Teens is our Sunday morning youth group. They meet at 10:00 am in the Bell Tower - hence the name - and join the rest of the congregation in time for communion. Please contact Kevin Lovell or Jenny Dobson via the Cornerstone Office for more details. NOTE: Young Church and Tower Teens do not meet on the second Sunday of every month when there is an All-age Service.
